The worst place you can possibly afk? Presearing Ascalon, dist 1, on a female character. For your own good, don't do it.

As far as explorables go, Ice Dome. I got wiped there thinking I was safe once, as well.

On a side note...I hate people that find it necessary to go "afk" for 1-3 minutes every 10 minutes. For god's sake turn AIM off while you're playing, or set it to busy...

I dunno, I'd expect AFKing during The Grand Court of Sebelkeh and Dzagonur Bastion are the worst places for obvious reasons.

The other worst place? Anytime you are about 3 enemies from vanquishing with a friend and his 3 heroes and they fall asleep at the keyboard, and they have the monks. WORST.....DAY....EVAR.

Worst place to be AFK would be when you're just so far into a mission / quest / vanquish that you just can't bring yourself to zone out and re-start without the AFKing tool.

friends group with 2-3 pugs was doing DoA HM full run and a guy went afk just b4 Foundry and he never come back so we couldn't trigger the first spawn and had to leave .......

Only time you are even allow to go afk while playing guild wars is when you are on your own time, when it does not involve any other player(s).

Motion for this thread to be deleted: reasons: encouraging players to go afk with details of where to afk and how and when, which I think is ridiculous.

You are in the underworld, your whole group dies, but aoe/burning aftereffects kill all monsters in your aggro circle. Suddenly, those last few monsters drop an eternal blade, several ectos and a perfect stormbow.

You are afk, and there arent any monsters in the radar in sight. "brb guys maybe 10-20 mins."
